A memorial service was due to be held in Washington Saturday for Nancy Tinoza, the Zimbabwean woman killed when her drunk lover crashed his over-speeding car on March 22.
Tinoza, 26, died on admission to hospital but her boyfriend Momodu Bello emerged from the wreckage with minor injuries. Bello has now been charged with second degree murder.
Tinoza’s friends and other donors raised $20 000 to repatriate the body to Zimbabwe and cover expenses.
Tinoza studied at the College of Wooster and joined the IMF as a research assistant after graduating in 2012. She has been described by many as an inspiration.
