President Robert Mugabe has dismissed seven more government ministers amid claims by his wife Grace that they ganged up with his ousted deputy Joice Mujuru.
Cabinet secretary Misheck Sibanda said “their conduct and performance were below the expected standard”.
However, Zanu PF sources said all the fired ministers had clashed with Grace Mugabe or were suspected to be in the Mujuru camp.
The sacked ministers are Flora Buka (president’s office), Sylvester Nguni (vice president’s office), Tendai Savanhu (deputy, lands), Tongai Muzenda (deputy, labour), Paul Chimedza (deputy, lands), Fortune Chasi (deputy, justice), Petronella Kagonye, (deputy, transport).
