Zimbabwe-born British boxing superstar Dereck Chisora has been sentenced to 60 hours of community service after he admitted issuing death threats against two men who blocked his car.
“I’ll kill you!” Chisora was recorded by London police as having shouted after the men, Majid Rezaei and Mansor Nikpor ignored an appeal for them to remove their car, which was blocking his Mercedes in a parking lot.
The 30 year-old former Commonwealth and British heavyweight champion, who had lost his European title to Tyson Fury a week before the December 10 incident, told the complainants he could “smash their faces and punch their heads in”, according to police.
Chisora was sentenced to a year’s community order including 60 hours community service and ordered to pay £100 compensation to each victim, $85 costs and a £60 victim surchage for the incident near his posh Golders Green, north London residence.
