MDC-T’s Job Sikhala has rubbished reports that he mediated coalition talks between former prime minister Morgan Tsvangirai’s party and under-fire Zanu PF vice president Joice Mujuru.
Sikhala dismissed the charges, published in the Sunday Mail, off-hand and said even his late mother would have found them laughable.
The Sunday Mail published what it claimed was a transcript of Sikhala’s conversation with un-named Mujuru faction members.
The desperate Mugabe regime, facing the worst internal rebellion against the 91-year-old dictator’s misrule since 1980, has resorted to blatant lies to defend him.
Mujuru allies are being purged through violence and a propaganda campaign waged by information minister Jonathan Moyo, a close associate of Mujuru’s rival Emmerson Mnangagwa.
