United Nations agencies are offering Zimbabwean health workers up to $1 000 per day to work in countries affected by the deadly ebola virus.
Bulawayo doctor Trevor Moyo confirmed that the World Health Organisation had sent people to Zimbabwe to scout for medical specialists willing to work in West Africa.
“The funds are attractive but you might have to pay with your life,” Moyo told the Voice of America.
Health systems in several affected countries have virtually collapsed after professionals fled.
