Mimosa Boss Chitando’s Son in Mysterious Death

The family of Mimosa Holdings executive chairman Winston Chitando was thrown into mourning this week following the mystery death of son Tinotenda.
Family sources said the former Chamber of Mines president’s only son, who was about 16, collapsed and died while mountan-climbing in South Africa, where he also attended school.
“Winston has been devastated. He really loved his son,” said a family source. He added that Chitando, who manages Zimbabwe’s second largest platinum mine for SA’s Implats and Aquarius Platinum Holdings, also had two daughters.
