Netanyahu Vows to Expose Iran Nuclear Secrets

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised to blow the lid off Iran’s secretive nuclear programme when he meets U.S. president Barack Obama on Monday and during a United Nations address the next day.
Addressing reporters at Ben Gurion airport as he left for the U.S., Netanyahu said Israel was ready to defend itself against the Iranian threat, prompting fears that Tel Aviv could strike Iranian targets if a solution was not found quickly.
“I am going there to represent the interests of the people of Israel, our readiness to defend ourselves and our hope for peace,” Netanyahu said. “I will say the truth. In the face of the sweet talk and the smiles one needs to tell the truth. Only the truth, today is vital to the security of the world, and of course essential to the security of our country.”
The UK Sunday Times said Netanyahu would present Obama with a dossier showing Iran’s “considerable progress” in building a nuclear bomb since Hassan Rouhani was elected in June.
